First time having roast duck.. (roasted duck with feather @.@ :p)

Traditional English dessert (I guess) ~ Meringue + ice cream + raspberry + strawberry + double cream .. presentation is nice :)

Chekie & the apple tree

I went to Uncle Seng's for dinner in Hatch End last Friday.

Aunt Jean (not sure whether the spelling is correct) cooked us Asian food. We have stir vegetables with beef, "kiam cai teng"(duck with salt vegetables soup), spare ribs and curry chicken. We then have apple cake with ice cream and strawberry for dessert. I love the curry chicken the most! Aunt Jean told me that she used Waitrose thai red curry paste to cook the curry which I think it is fabulous! Shame that I didn't take any picture coz too busy eating! Lol!

I really have to give credit to Aunt Jean. She is English and yet she cooks very good Malaysian food! Oh well, she was worrying that there will be a generation gap between the other guests and me coz the guests are all couples in the same generation with Uncle Seng. I said, no problem! I am good with all generations! Ha! That's why am busy eating in the dinner :)

Another thing is I like the garden loads! I have a feeling like am in Cameron Highland when Uncle Seng toured me around the garden!

Drinks with DP folks

First of all, I would like to thank Grant (my DP PT job reporting line manager) who took us out for dinner in Prezzo and drinks in MixBar on Thursday. Glad that I survived from the hungover in the next morning but I am good now :)

I guess every one was having a good time that evening. Lastly, I would like to wish Alice all the best in her master study in University of Southampton.

No internet!

Sweet! The internet in hall is still down. There is no further notice given on when they will fix the issues. All university buildings are closed until next Tuesday.

Honestly, it's quite tough for me to live without internet. Instead of popping to Starbucks or Costa in town to 'buy' the coffee and internet, I am sitting under a tree in uni now, using the university wifi, just to quickly check my emails and of course blogging. The reason why I like to blog is because of my short term memory, so it will be good that I have everything in my blog so I can have my own little memoir when I get old. Ha! Plus, not many people know or read my blog, so I can have my little privacy here :)


Thank god it is a sunny day! Guess I may have to do the same for tomorrow if the weather is good. :)

Sex and the city 2

Finally got a chance to watch Sex and the city 2! Absolutely love it!

Some people told me that it isn't as great as the first one! I think I have to disagree. I think it is as good as the first one!

The idea of taking Abu Dhabi as a location set is great! It gives more spices to the movie! And it does touch a bit about the muslim ladies. I feel that even though they have to cover up, still they can be fashionable.

Overall, I think Samatha rocks the whole movie! For those who already watched this movie, you probably wont forget what she said to the girl in boutique when she was trying to get a younger dress 'I am fifty F***ing two and I'll still rock this dress!' Honestly, I won't have the guts to say so if i were 52. Ha! It is good to see Carrie, Miranda the lawyer and Charlotte...It is just great!

Not forgetting the guys...It is always great to see the guys again like Aidan, Smith, Mr Big, and Steve...Remember the time when I was watching the series, Aidan is kinda guy I adore...caring, a good listener..and he loves Carrie..Hehe! I like Smith because of his love to Samatha..very classy!

Then the gay wedding..the Irish woman who never wear bras...the new rules to the marriage couple etc...leave me a deep impression. Ha!

I love it! and i believe that girls shall watch the series and the movies! Probably guys too...it may get you to know more about woman :D

Weekend #33

Again, I am having a good weekend! Try out new recipe, report is 70% done and due to submit next coming Friday, short journey bike riding, a bit of shopping in Reading town center and watched two movies, The Holiday and SATC2 :)

~ Saturday ~

Right, look at this: Have you try a Thai Pasta before?

Let me present to you the creator of Thai Pasta - 'Chef' RM aka ('Tai Lung'...actually am not sure why he likes Tai Lung so much :p) Apparently, he is changing the whole Asian concept of making noodle soup to a very westernised noodles with thick thai gravy. That's why I name this dish as Thai Pasta!! The most 'zha dou' thing is his 'peace' sign! In fact, I kinda force him to do so! Ha!

Another exciting bike riding in the late afternoon! Cool! I felt like flying on the motorway! Am I not looking cool in this gear? I am tempted to be biker now! Ha!

~ Sunday ~

I have to refund the winter coat given by aunt to M&S. Coz the coat is not fitting me that well. So, I have a refund credit vouncher and see below, I bought myself a new pair of shoes in paying £4.5 extra ^^

Trying out jacket in a few outlets! However, didn't get anything at last. I have a feeling that the price could be reduced after a few weeks as these are all new arrival jackets. I can wait for sake of saving me some money! This is the one I like the most! :)

I like this as well, but I feel it is a bit too thin for me. Can't really keep me warm when the weather is cold!

The Holiday 恋爱假期

我想我看这部戏也看了N次.这部恋爱假期也可说是我看那么多爱情喜剧里其中一部我最喜欢的电影.

除了有很强的CAST,我个人很喜欢Cameron Diaz,故事大纲很好,演员也不错,导演真的有把整部戏的情感给带了出来..最重要的是我觉得整部戏的情感都很ngam我的feel!

记得第一次看,是一个人在电影院看..看完后,自己偷偷掉泪了..因为觉得很感动..原来爱情可以是那么美好的..

有一次看,那时已经是将近跟男友(现在已经是前男友)分手,觉得自己跟戏中的Amanda很像,那时一直鼓励自己LDR是可以work 的..

又有一次看,那时已经分手了..就觉得说为何他不给大家多一点时间想个解决方法..后来才懂他已经不爱我了..所以看完后,觉得Amanda很幸福,希望自己可是有个像Graham那样的男友..

刚刚又看了..这次不再觉得自己像戏里任何角色..不过换来的是过去一年的反思，我才发现我足足用了一年多的时间让自己想通了一些事情，，也更明白<<平常心>>和<<顺其自然>>的道理！

Four counties bike riding

Vroom ...... Vroom....

I went for bike riding last weekend...in fact, it is my first time bike riding experience...hehe...although am just a passenger... We rode for 100 miles for about 4.5 hours in the afternoon and covered four counties which are Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Berkshire...

Lunch time, RM explained me more about bike. Right, what I can remember is sport bike, hyper sport bike and tour bike. And I am on the hyper sport bike, just like me, hyper hyper!
