Kew Grill

First time enjoying three course English Meal in Kew Grill last night. Not sure what is the food called as I only familiar in Chinese food. Restaurant is owned by a famous chef: Antony Worrall Thompson. Click here for Menu.

We had prawns and scallop as Starters. (Opps, forget to take picture, coz a bit 'paiseh' to take picture coz people here not keen to take picture when having meal)

We have steak and fish each as main course. Food ingredients are so fresh. Fish is my only selection because I cannot take beef.

Then we have chocolate cake and Pistachio (nutty ice cream, I personally like it so much as I never try before) as dessert.

Overall, we had good dinner last night. Price is reasonable. Waiters are friendly. At least they always smile at me. And most important is my partner enjoys the dinner so much.

East and West Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day - Western Celebration:

A dine out in Sugar Hut, serving Morrocan and Asian Food in Fulham Broadway.
Nice indoor desgin. Saw a lot of Buddha and Siamese statues when I walked in, also seeing a lot of Baliness wooden art craft. Not really can take pictures in the restaurant as the camera flash might be annoying ;p

This is the Valentine's package offered on the special day.

And just like my partner said, 'Every one gets the same package'. Good thing is we were sitting at the corner. And we were not squeezing between table.

Take a good look of the Menu. The name for each meal was sweet. Started with Tonight I celebrate My Love, It Must Have Been Love, You're in My Heart, then More Than Words, Here There and Everywhere, When a Man Loves a Woman and Wonderful Tonight, and ended up with Endless Love. Most importantly the food was very very nice.

More Than Words, Here There and Everywhere, When a Man Loves a Woman and Wonderful Tonight..All nice..

Endless Love - The dessert
Pink Champagne Sorbet served with fresh strawberries and home made strawberry coulis

Valentine's Day - Eastern Celebration:
A simple dine out in Coco Noodle Bar situated nearby Ealing Broadway Station

Snowy Monday - 'Paralysed the capital'

I was experiencing SNOW for the first time in my life.

However, due to this is the biggest snowfall in 18 years for London, almost all public transport (tube, buses, trains etc) were suspended. Only some continuing the services. Thousands of schools were closed. People couldn't get to work due to the bad weather. And I heard from the TV news saying: The Snowfall paralysed the capital.

Me, same with the rest, couldn't get into anywhere due to the heavy snow. And I wasn't aware there won't have any tube or busses running, and I walked under the cold weather and thick snow struggling to get into Putney Bridge Station and eventually I was forced to walk back as the tube station was closed.

See the picture below. How awful I looked like:

6am

Having some fun playing the snow. Taking pictures..and even asked one of the pedestrians helping me to take pictures.

Working from Home:

This was the only video that I took:
