Chekie Coolie Weepie

My life is very simple now. Nothing fancy as I was in London that time nor in KL.

My ex once told me that getting drunk is fun. I couldn't understand how fun it could be that time. In fact, we argued a lot about it. Now only I understand the 'fun'. It is just like taking me away from the unhappy stuff for a while or I can celebrate with it when for my small achievements. But don't get me wrong, am not as a heavy drinker.. So da la...this is my favorite drink of the month - 'Chekie Coolie Weepie' (Cold Orange + Mango Juice + Red wine)! It is simple to explain why I named it that way. Chekie is me. Coolie - I drink when I am happy and feel cool! Weepie - I drink when am feeling a bit low. Lol! I like my creativity!

I am voting!

Not much time to really get to know about the candidates. So I cast my vote base on their 'Slogan'. Muahahahaha...

The process is quite simple:

1) Go to website (they emailed us the link)

2) Choose the candidate in order of preference starts with 1

3) Confirm and submit your votes

4) Acknowledgment

Still, I do not feel online voting is reliable as the data maybe manipulated at some point. Perhaps they have some other way of handling it.

Good luck to the candidates, cheers :)

CNY 2010

This is the second time I spent my CNY in the UK. Last year I was here due to work. And this year i am here for my MSc studies. Although I missed my family and friends back in Malaysia terribly, it wasn't that bad as am having CNY Reunion Dinner in London with Auntie Bee and her family. I got 2 'AngPao's too...Muahahaha...

TomYam made my day

My Malaysian mate came visiting me yesterday. The plan of the day was to cook TomYam soup based hotpot.

We went to get the ingredients in a Chinese grocery shop (See Woo Reading Limited) . Thanks to my corridor mate, Shirley from China giving me the details. We went there by taking Bus 6 from Reading Station, stopped at Basingstoke Road.

Mate, thanks for cooking me such a nice dinner. Very appreciate it. You were right, I was damn excited coz I love TomYam!!!! Muahahaha......

ISRU International Music Night

First time am joining social event organised by ISRU (International Student at Reading University). Was quite alright, seeing students from the other parts of the world, making some new friends. Only started enjoying enjoying myself at the last hour. Couldn't stayed too late as having appointment with lecturer on the next morning.

I actually felt quite flattered when some of the students thought am only aged 20-23...Am wondering, am I really look that young! Muahahahaha..

Lesson learnt: Never be on time for student social. I was there at 8pm (as being informed). The event only started at about 10pm. lol.

Enjoy the videos I took yesterday :)
