Early Weekend with Chicago The Musical

Went to see Chicago the musical in Cambridge Theatre yesterday with Bee. It was quite a journey..ha!
Well, our original plan was to see Les Miserable, however, by the time we got to London, as we were trapped in the circle line, the good price tickets were all sold out. Eventually we went for Chicago. We bought the discounted ticket which cost £25.50 each in the London Theatre box office ticket booth in Leicester Square.

We got free pizza as a complementary. Pizza was ok-ish, however the servicing was awful. First, we ordered Cappuccino, but they gave us Hot Chocolate. Second, no smile on face and very slow in serving. I didn't get the name of the restaurant, but it was in the corner near Leicester Square tube station.

Complimentary Pizza...Can't comment on it as it is free...haha!

On the plus side, we got our tickets upgraded from upper circle to stall seats. yay!

I quite enjoyed the singing and dancing performance. The choreography was nice. However, I think they could have done a bit more with the props and staging. Stage was a bit plain, not many props like some other musicals that I have seen before such as sister act, Priscilla and Lion King that have fantastic staging and props. Also, I quite liked that they had a exit music to sending off the audience. Ha!
Wondering about my next pose!

I am always inspired to do drama studies every time after watching a musical. I know now is not the time as I have my priorities, however, I know it is not long :)

Well, that's it my early weekend as I have to work on some paper work this weekend. Haha!
